One-of-a-Kind Mixed-Media Collage Brooch

On top sits a printed collage: Moscow’s onion domes rising behind a raised hand holding roses. A black velvet band crosses the middle, embroidered in gold. To one side, a black spiked fan spreads open, every point tipped with a bead. Below, two photoreal eyes look out through a wreath of autumn maple leaves. Small faceted beads — turquoise, amber, violet, crimson — scatter through like punctuation. From the base hangs a black hand charm, engraved in gold with a radiant eye, swinging from a red cord loop and a cluster of orange beads.
