Mixed media, made by hand. One piece only. Made once, never repeated.Five strands of bright glass beads gather into the pendant. They let it do the talking.The centre is a printed panel in a shield shape, sealed under a clear flexible cover. A woman’s face looks out, haloed in painted flowers. Behind her sits a gilded birdcage, a bluebird on either side. A scalloped border runs the whole way round, finished by hand.Above it opens a large orange gerbera flower, a single faux pearl at its heart. At one shoulder, a deep red fabric rose. Near the clasp, a carved green bead. A carved ochre drop hangs below. The necklace closes with a hook and eye.It measures 18 cm at the pendant, 14 cm across, on a 50 cm length. Wear it over black, over white, over anything plain. It will be the whole look. Presented in a gift box.
